New Features: Appointment Booking Notes & Unbookable Appointments

Dentally has some new features that improve the communication between the surgery and reception.

Appointment Booking Notes

You can now annotate unbooked appointments in the chart. Annotations help improve communication between the surgery and reception. The annotations can be added on either the chart page or from the patient's list of unbooked appointments. Once an annotation has been added reception can view the annotation from:

• The patient's list of unbooked appointments.
• When booking an appointment from the calendar you can view the note from the dropdown list of unbooked appointments.
• Hovering over the relevant appointment annotation icon from the chart.

Unbookable Appointments

This allows you to prevent appointments in the chart from appearing in the patient’s list of unbooked appointments. To make an appointment unbookable you can either toggle the calendar icon from the chart or the patient’s list of unbooked appointments. Only appointments that haven’t been booked can be made unbookable.
