As you may be aware, NHSE recently advised of changes to the NHS Claim specification to be brought into effect from 1st October 2022.
How does this work in Dentally?
As always, with Dentally, these changes are already in place in the software and will simply come into effect when submitting NHS claims started on or after 1st October 2022 without the need to update your software.
What does this mean for me?
To ensure you can meet the new requirements there may be some settings within your local Dentally app that you will need to change or update. We strongly encourage you to read through our help documentation and to please double check you have everything in place on your end before 1st October.
All the information you need to know is held in the support documentation linked below. The required changes have been communicated from NHSE in three separate documents and so we have dealt with the changes in these three support articles.
Part 2: Personalised Recall Intervals, Endodontic Codes & Additional Clinical Information
Part 3: Orthodontic Assess & Debond
Why is this important?
You will need the above settings in place to ensure any claims submitted on or after October 1st meet the new guidelines of the NHSE. Dentally has kept the changes as simple and easy as possible, and the help guides above mean you can browse them in your own time and make the changes as needed in a timely manner before next week.
If you encounter any problems or are unsure what these changes mean, please get in touch with our support team for further guidance.
