In the last 12 months Dentally have gone from strength to strength, In this period the company have doubled the amount of practices who use Dentally in the UK. Dentally has also gone international with clients from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain and Italy.
With increasing presence in the Middle East, Dentally exhibited at the 2018 AEEDC International Conference and Dental Exhibition which took place at the World Trade Centre in Dubai.
This was the first time Dentally had exhibited at a dental show outside the UK. Prior to the event, a large amount of emphasis was put into planning and researching the local region. Dentally engaged with existing clientele in the Middle East ensuring measures were put in place to maximise Dentally’s presence at the exhibition.
The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) added us to their portfolio of British companies exhibiting at the show. This was invaluable, tapping into the wealth and knowledge of British companies that had attended the show in previous years.
For me personally, having been involved in the UK dental market since 2002 I found it interesting to see how the dental world works in a different continent.
Dentally attended the AEEDC with an open mind. Not knowing what to expect in regards to foot-traffic from dental clinicians. We were pleasantly surprised. We met lots of interesting people from clinicians to distributors from different parts of the Middle East not just Dubai.
Looking back over our time and experience at the AEEDC there was much positivity about Dentally, with patient management in the cloud being a hit with the visitors to the stand.
Back in 1597 Sir Francis Bacon said "Knowledge is power" That is certainly what Dentally have brought back from the exhibition . Not only has the company gained valuable information on how to move forward in the Middle East but we took some great ideas on improving Dentally as a product that will be hugely beneficial to our customers in the UK.
2018 will certainly be an interesting year for everyone connected with Dentally.
