“I started my Dentally journey in 2019 as a Customer Support Agent then joined the Training Team in 2021. To say I was out of my comfort zone initially is an understatement as the trainer role was so different to anything I’d done in my working life. When I started in the role I’d barely driven out of my local area alone and I’ve now travelled tens of thousands of miles around the UK and Ireland delivering Dentally training.

Working at Dentally has been great for my personal development and has really made me believe in myself. The whole training team including management were and still are on hand for support and guidance and they are just one of the great things about working for the company.”

“It really has been some journey as Dentally has grown and grown over the years. I joined the team as the first commercial member of staff in 2016, taking over sales activities from Nick, our CEO and Co-Founder at the time. Since then, we have grown from supporting the great 62 customers we had at the time, which became around 800 when Dentally became a Henry Schein One product in 2021.

Today, we’re working with 3,000+ locations, have launched Dentally in Canada and Australia, and are still growing rapidly. The product continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re constantly improving and adapting it based on our customer’s feedback and changing industry needs.

With the creation of the Dentally Elevate Programme, we’re now able to work with our customers from a more commercial standpoint than we used to do. This includes regular booked calls with our consultants to discuss KPI management, industry trends, workflow efficiencies, generating revenue, and improving treatment uptake. This is offered as part of the subscription and has helped our customers grow their businesses and use the product’s functionality as well as possible. The average clinic generated 20-36% more revenue within 12 months—a huge improvement that we’re incredibly proud of.

“I joined Henry Schein One to lead the Engineering function for Dentally two and a half years ago and I've loved every minute of it. The culture of delivering continuous user value and solving real problems for our global dental practices has been an exciting and rewarding one since the moment I joined. After meeting James Harker, Nick Davies and the other Dentally leaders, I knew I had made the right choice to join a team that has the user's needs at the heart of everything they do, and is continually focused on improving how we operate to deliver the best experience for our customers. I have primarily been focused on growing and maturing our engineering organization, hiring the most talented engineers we can find to deliver on the global ambitions of our team. At the time of writing, we've now added 39 exceptional engineers since I joined and have grown our global product development team to more than 70.

My most memorable moment since joining was when James Harker and I flew over to New Zealand to spend time with our Auckland based team. During the trip, we decided to travel down to Rotorua where we zip-lined through a forest to let off some steam.

Needless to say, joining the Dentally team at Henry Schein One has been a career highlight and the good news is that we're only just getting started. We're building a world-class product development team and growing Dentally into the market-leading product that is loved by dental practices around the world.”
